Terms and Conditions

Failure on your part to comply with any of the terms and conditions set out herein, shall entitle Epupa Falls Lodge at its sole discretion and regardless of booking requirements and payments already received, to cancel or refuse to accept your booking.

Epupa Falls Lodge shall not be liable and shall not be deemed to be in default for any failure of performance hereunder for any reasons beyond its control. Such cases shall be deemed to include, without limitation, war, warlike operations, armed aggression, insurrection, riots, fires, explosions, terrorism, government acts or omissions, floods, regulations or order, acts of God, acts of the public enemy, epidemics, quarantine, restrictions and / or external labour troubles.

Rates: Our rates include 15% VAT and 1% Bed Levy as per the Epupa Conservancy legislation.

The above rates are per person sharing per night and are in Namibian Dollars (equivalent to South African Rand – ZAR).

Rates are subject to change with the exception of confirmed reservations.

All reservations will be invoiced according to the attached rates, should the pro-forma invoice amount differ from the rate sent to you as a result of human or technical error the abovementioned rate will remain applicable.

Children Policy: All five chalets can accommodate an additional stretcher, for a small child sharing with their parents at the applicable child rate.

Children of all ages are welcome; however remain the full responsibility of their parents.

Children aged 3 and below are free of charge providing they share with their parent(s).

Children between the ages of 4 & 12 are charged a fixed rate, providing they share with their parents.

Children under the age of 12 requiring their own chalet will be charged full adult rates.

One adult sharing with one child under 12 will be charged 1 x per person rate & 1 x child rate (50% of rack rate).

Date of birth of the child(ren) to be supplied at the time of making the reservation to qualify for the child policy.

Reservations: All reservations are to be made in writing specifying ETA (estimated time of arrival) or where your clients are arriving from, as well as nationality.

Please ensure that reservations are made in advance to ensure that we are prepared for their arrival, a reservation is only confirmed on receipt of a written confirmation.

Please ensure that the type of accommodation (Chalet or Campsite) is specified on the original request as well as any specific dietary requirements or special occasions.

Deposits, Payment and Cancellation Fees: We require a 25% deposit to confirm your reservation and the remainder is due 30 days prior to arrival unless agreed differently.

Payment can be made by bank deposit.

Should you pay by electronic transfer / international bank deposit please ensure that all bank charges are for your own account. Any difference in the amount invoiced and the amount received on the bank will be credited (refunded) or debited (charged) at the lodge on your departure

Cancellations will only be effective upon written acknowledgement from Epupa Falls Lodge that notice of cancellation has been received.

The following cancellation fees (as a percentage of the fully quoted price) are applicable to any cancelled bookings:
