Guaranteed access to a private field guide and an interpreter with an intimate relationship with the Himba people, Epupa Falls Lodge provides guests with a cultural experience like no other. Individually crafted Himba experiences allow guests the freedom to explore, not only the Himba Villages but also the Epupa Valley at their own pace.
The Epupa Valley lends itself to both the weary traveller and the explorer. Here you have the opportunity to sit and stare at the endlessness of the Kunene river as it flows past your room or underneath the main deck. You really don’t have to do anything here but recharge your batteries. Should you be tired from all the driving and feel that a good walk is just what you need, we have several walks that will get the blood running through your veins again. The best part of our walks is that you will learn way more than you bargained for and walk away with the most beautiful photos.

What our guests say
“On our Namibia trip we made a stop at the Epupa Falls. The accommodation is very well maintained and lovingly designed. The campsites are simple but equipped with everything you need. Actually we would have stayed only 1 night, but we decided to stay one more night. The staff was always courteous, friendly and uncomplicated. The lodge offers excursions to the nearby Himba village, which comes highly recommended thanks to the excellent guide. The viewpoint of Epupa Falls on the nearby hill is also recommended, especially in the evening.”
